He plans to enroll in Harvard's Graduate School for a Masters in Computer Science the following year. He's spent his entire work career in IT (thirty years), and if you go to the History of Computers Exhibit at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. you can see the Advanced Scientific Computer (TI' A.S.C) console he worked on in the late 70's. He's got certifications from Oracle as an Oracle 10g Certified DBA, Developer, Application Server Administrator, from Microsoft as an MCTS, MCITP SQL Server DBA , and MCITP SQL Server Developer, from Sun as an SCJP, and from CompTIA, the A+, Network+, Server+, Security+ and Linux+ certifications. He's working on a test preparation book for an Oracle certification exam which should be finished this year and available on Amazon. He works professionally as an Oracle 9i/10g/11g/Sql Server 2000/2005 DBA/Developer. All this requires a lot of energy, so he keeps in shape mentally and physically by running and reading. He's interested in anything having to do with intelligence, memory and perception, epistemology, philosophy, psychology, linguistics and applied exercise physiology.
